Kinver Community Library is offering an exciting opportunity for local residents to get up close and person with some feathered friends, thanks to a visit from the World Owl Trust.
On Wednesday 22nd February from 10am until 12.30pm, Mr Alan Peace from the Himley-based charity will bring two different species of owl to the children’s section of the library, giving children and adults the opportunity to:
- learn about their life and habits
- handle the birds, using leather gloves
- be photographed with the birds
- enjoy the antics and beauty of these wild creatures
This FREE event promises to be really fascinating, so why not pay us a flying visit? No need to book, you can just wing it! But you’d be wise to put it in your diary.
