Have you ever wondered what it’s like to create your own world of landscapes and characters?  R.E.Hodges will present an evening at Kinver Community Library on Thursday 6th April, with insights into the process of bringing her historical fantasy novels to life.

Through readings of extracts from some of her work, including Dark Star Rising and The King’s Curse & the Summer Son, Kinver-based Rachel will convey the fun to be had from escaping the humdrum routine of bills, targets and deadlines.  There’ll also be a discussion on the writing process so the event will appeal to readers and writers alike, and as her books are suitable for any audience adults and children are welcome.

A firm believer in tapping into her vivid imagination to weave her tales and direct her characters, Rachel confesses “I get immense satisfaction from playing God and being evil … despite being a very nice person!”  For further information, visit her website at www.kingscurse.co.uk

The event is at Kinver Community Library in Vicarage Drive on Thursday 6th April at 7.30pm.  Entrance is £2 (12s and under free) and light refreshments will be provided.
