Ever wondered how easy it is to draw a cartoon? Try your hand at celebrated cartoonist Geoff Tristram’s Cartoon Workshop, taking place on Wednesday 1 August, between 2pm and 4pm, at Kinver Community Library.

Geoff, who lives in Wollaston, has enjoyed a highly successful career spanning 35 years as a professional artist, cartoonist and illustrator.  He has worked for many household names such as Penguin Books, Royal Doulton and Ravensburger Jigsaw Puzzles, has designed album sleeves for UB40 and created postage stamps for Charles and Diana’s wedding. His achievements as a cartoonist include appearing on BBC’s World Snooker Finals, producing caricatures of the players.

The workshop, which includes a talk, is aimed at children of all ages, but adults are also very welcome to participate in what is sure to be a fun session.

Places cost £2 and booking is essential, either in person at the library or by calling 01384 872348.
