Gilly Page will be running two more of her popular craft workshops this month and is looking forward to welcoming everyone to the library on Tuesday 7th and Tuesday 21st August. Both workshops, which run from 2pm to 4pm, are designed for primary age children, although older children are welcome to come along.  The focus of these workshops is “Mischief Makers” – the theme of this year’s national Summer Reading Challenge.

On Tuesday 7 August, everyone will be making a “Mischief Makers Money Box” and at the following session on Tuesday 21, children will be inspired to create work around the theme of “My Mischievous Book of Fun”.

Gilly holds regular workshops at the library and these always prove very popular with the young participants, who join in with great enthusiasm to produce some original creations. Due to the popularity of these sessions, places must be booked in advance. There is a fee of £5 per child, which includes all materials.

Booking is essential, either in person at the library or by calling 01384 872348.
