Kinver Community Library continues with its popular family history courses led by experienced genealogist Jenny Metcalfe, with the latest starting on Monday 16 September at the library in Vicarage Drive.
Here’s an opportunity to research your roots, undertaking your own journey of discovery with the guidance and support of an expert. This small-group course enables participants to receive individual attention and enables beginner and experienced researchers alike to benefit from bespoke tuition. Knowledge of the internet is a must, and it would be helpful, although not essential, if participants could bring their own laptops.
The course, which runs from 6.45pm to 8.45pm, lasts for six weeks and is being held on 16, 23, 30 September and 7, 14, 21 October. The session on 7 October takes place during Local History Week, so will be an open session celebrating local heritage. The cost for the entire course is £30 and, as places are limited, please get in touch with the library on 01384 872348 to secure a slot.
