The library volunteers are missing serving the community with all the facilities that we offer under normal circumstances, and we look forward to opening up again when it is safe to do so. Please rest assured that any books you took out before lockdown will have automatically been renewed and no fines will be incurred.

If you’re already running short of reading material, don’t forget that there’s a host of electronic books, magazines and newspapers at your disposal if you’re a library member. Reading from a tablet isn’t everyone’s first choice, but desperate times call for desperate measures!

  • Check out this page: eBooks
  • For anyone wishing to become a member, the joining procedure can be found here: Join
  • For family history enthusiasts, until the end of May, it’s even possible for members to access the Ancestry Library Edition from home – once logged into your library account, scroll right down and click the relevant link.

We’re adding regular relevant content – news, ideas for activities (educational or literary) to our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/kinverlibrary/ and Twitter account: https://twitter.com/KinverLibrary

While we’re looking forward to more connected times, it’s worth mentioning that the competition for the 2021 Kinver Calendar has launched! While you’re out and about on your exercise walk, keep an eye out for your favourite landscape-oriented views and submit your photos here: Calendar competition

We all send our best wishes for your health and wellbeing, and look forward to welcoming you back to the library when the time is right.
