Kinver Community Library is reinstating some services following its reopening earlier this month.  Although opening hours remain restricted to 10am to 1pm on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, from 1st October the library will enter Phase 2 of its COVID-secure reopening plan and will be offering computer and photocopying services.

The public can now access the library building to use a computer between 11am and noon on opening days. This can be booked by emailing kinver.library@staffordshire.gov.uk or by calling 01384 872348.

It will be the responsibility of the user to clean the equipment after use and it is worth noting that library toilet facilities are not available. Similarly, browsing for books is not permitted, with the current Return and Order & Collect services remaining in place for borrowers into the immediate future.

However, photocopying is back, subject to a new protocol, with material to be handed over at the library entrance to the volunteer team, who will ensure copying is completed and returned. For both computer and copying services, exact payment is required, as unfortunately no change can be given.

The library team continues to aim for a return to full services in due course and plans are afoot to resume the book reservation service from other Staffordshire libraries with effect from 1st October.
